Our style of wedding photography is a mix between posed photography for the group photographs and more informal style for the rest. We feel that this enables us to obtain the shots that matter without being too intrusive on the day. However we are happy to modify our style to suit your requirements; we never forget that you are the customer and  it is your day.

All our wedding prices include:

• Pre wedding planning meeting with you and a visit to the venues
• Our travelling costs within Essex
• Hand editing of shots to correct colour and enhance the images
• Provision of a password protected web gallery so that friends and family can view and purchase photos in a range of sizes from the comfort of their home
• A slide show of selected images set to music for you to download, useable on social networking sites (similar to the show above)
• A low resolution watermarked image of all of the gallery photos suitable for use on phones and social networking sites

Every wedding is unique, and our experience is that different elements are important to different couples. This is why we always like to meet and discuss your exact requirements. For this reason we don't have a set package price, we build you an exclusive custom package enabling the price to be extremely competitive as it is based only on the elements you want.

Popular services and products we can provide are:

• A proof album so that prints can be selected in a more traditional way
• A proofing DVD that can be viewed on a television
• A CD/DVD containing high resolution jpeg images
• A pre wedding photo shoot. This would be a one or two hour shoot at a location of your choosing normally taken a couple of months before the wedding. This gives you great creative and informal images which could be used on invitations or place settings. The photos might also be used as slide show shown at the reception. This is also a great opportunity for you to relax in front of the camera without the pressure of the wedding day
• Varying length of coverage to include speeches and first dance. Or perhaps a shorter coverage at just the church or registry office
• Story book albums. Our preference is for the Bellissimo album. This is a stylish book bound album with the prints being made using the traditional silver process. The albums are packed in a an attractive black, velvet lined presentation box with a sumptuous leather affect covering the outer surface. Information regarding this album can be found here
• Traditional wedding albums
• Discount for weekday weddings
• Wall canvases, acrylics and framed prints
• Photo books. These are very popular, with prices from approximately £30, depending on options. These can make great gifts for special guests. There is no minimum quantity, you can just order one if you wish. Some people working on a tight budget choose these in preference to an album. Examples can be viewed here

Booking
For a wedding booking a non returnable deposit of £150.00 will be required to secure the services of GeatPhoto. The balance will be payable four weeks prior to the date of your wedding.

Do you have insurance?

Yes I have Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance

Have you been CRB checked?

Yes I have an "Enhanced Disclosure" CRB form.

Can you provide video photography?

No, this is a different area of expertise, we only supply photographs. We often work alongside video photographers and I can provide you with contact details of somebody that can provide this service.

What happens if your camera equipment fails?

I always work with two camera bodies, several lenses, multiple memory cards, duplicated lighting equipment and so if any equipment does fail, I will have backup.

How far will you travel ?

Our wedding bookings are normally within Essex however I am happy to travel further. When we provide you with a price it will always include any travelling costs that we might incur and thus will be an all inclusive price

When will we see our photographs?

After the wedding I colour correct and enhance the images. Once this has been completed I upload them onto your password protected gallery and email you or a wedding coordinator to advise you of this. I also produce a slide show set to music which I will post to you on a DVD, this can also be made available as a download. I normally complete this process within one week of the wedding.

We don’t want an album can you just supply a disk of the images?

For a small charge we are happy to provide a DVD of the high resolution images that have been uploaded onto the web gallery. (This charge would be included in the wedding price if requested as part of the initial service.) However your wedding day is very special and the cost of an album is a very small percentage of the overall wedding cost. A printed album will long outlast all other elements of the wedding day, flowers, cake, wedding dress etc. When looking back in thirty years’ time an album will be a treasured possession, a disk of images may not even be readable by then. For this reason we would always encourage you to have an album as well. It need not be an expensive Bellissimo album our photo books are very reasonably priced

When and how is the design of the wedding album finalised?

You select the pictures you would like to see in your album and advise if there is any particular layout requirements. I then make an initial proof for you to view.  This is normally via a PDF document. From this first set of layouts you can then decide on any changes you would like to have made and another set of proofs will be produced with your changes. This process continues until you are happy with the layout. To keep the individual price of our photo books low we do not normally offer any proofing. The layout will be decided by us after you have selected the pictures. (If you are committing to purchase a quantity of photo books then proofing could be provided.)

What if you are unfamiliar with our church or venue?

I will always visit your church and venue prior to the wedding day perhaps meeting with yourselves or your wedding coordinator. This helps me plan how the shots will be taken and helps me understand if any special equipment will be needed on the day
